Activity Day

HandsWomen of St. Luke's meet the first Wednesday of the month at 9 a.m. in the Congregational Life Center to work on a variety of projects for Lutheran World Relief, American Cancer Society, the church, and for others in need. There are projects for all skill levels. Participate and enjoy the fellowship.

 

Prayer Chain

Prayer chainThis organized prayer group communicates by telephone and offers prayer support for members and their families who are in need during illness, death, birth, in crisis situations and in grief. It relays information about funerals and funeral receptions.

 

Women of St. Luke's

Women of St. Luke's is an active part of Women of the ELCA, which is a community of women created in the image of God, called to discipleship in Jesus Christ and empowered by the Holy Spirit. We commit ourselves to grow in faith , affirm our gifts, support one another in our callings, engage in ministry and action and promote healing and wholeness in the church, the society and the world.

 

We provide a wide variety of fellowhship, servant, and learning programs. Participants study God's Word and and reach out to others through activity days and special projects and generously contribute to selected organizations through "Givng for Other" offerings.

 

Women's Bible Study 

Pictorial Directory 017Three circles meet monthly to study scripture and share in fellowship:

Mary/Ruth Circle meets the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 10 a.m. in the Adult Classroom.

Rebekah Circle meets the 2nd Tueday of the month at 1:30 p.m. in the Adult Classroom.

Sarah Circle meets the 2nd Saturday of the month at 9 a.m. in the Conference Room.

All women are invited to join in these studies any time.

 

Booksome Ladies 

The third Wednesday of each month the Booksome Ladies meet at 9:30 a.m. in the Conrad Library to discuss a book. Chck the online St. Luke's newsletter to see this month's title. Even if you haven't read the book, come anyway and enjoy the discussion. Everyone is welcome.
