Music Ministry

The Music Ministry at St. Luke's is a very diverse, opportunity-filled program.

Our children meet on Sunday morings at 8:45 am in the Sunday School rooms learning hymns: traditional, new and from around the world under the leadership of Ursula Peters. They sing and play hand chimes regularly in Worship. Additionally, many of our children sing solos periodically as special music during Sunday Services.

Our youth participate in P-squared, a more contemporary group, which leads worship once a month, usually the first Sunday, using Marty Haugen's "Now the Feast an d Celebration." They also have many opportunities to sing solos, duets and provide instrumental solos.

Our Adult Choir is made up of faithful members that provide musical leadership from September through May. Membership is open to singers of all ages from Youth to Seniors. Although we are small in number, we make a very "joyful noise." Our anthems range from Unison to SATB, traditional to world music.
